Training Scenario
You witnessed a serious crime at a local shopping center. A suspect was observed fleeing the scene. Law enforcement needs accurate and detailed descriptions from witnesses to aid in identification and apprehension.
As trained observers and communicators, amateur radio operators may be called upon to relay detailed suspect descriptions to law enforcement during public safety operations. The ability to observe, remember, and accurately report physical characteristics is a valuable skill.
This week's training exercise tests your observational memory and attention to detail. After viewing the suspect image, you'll be asked to provide a complete description from memory—just as you might need to do as a witness or operator relaying information during an actual incident.
